An Interview With Tony Schnur "Braiden" in ALMOST HOME. Tony Recently Appeared As 'Ben Street' On "Dawson's Creek"

This interview was conducted by Alex, the webmaster of Alex's Dawson's Creek Site.
ALEX Q#1. Where you able to meet all the main cast of "Dawson's Creek?" What were they like? I'm a huge KatieHolmes fan and was wondering what she was like
especially. ...TONY A#1. Well, Alex, actually I had a very small part on the show before they
"upgraded" my part to "Ben Street" For the first two seasons I played the DJ
at all the dances and parties. So I did get to meet James, Katie, Josh, and
Michelle early on. I met Kerr durring the shoot this season. As for Katie,
I said hi nice to meet you and bye, and that's about it, however she seemed
very nice, as was the rest of the cast.
ALEX Q#2. How did your audition for "Dawson's Creek" go? Did
you need an agent? ...TONY A#2. Yes my agent was instrumental in getting me this audition, he called and said they were casting a character they needed immediately, and I went on the
audition, got the part and ended up filming and doing a photo shoot that night.
ALEX Q#3. What is the role of your character in ALMOST HOME like? ...TONY A#3. My character in ALMOST HOME is a guy named Braiden. He is the next door
neighbor of the three main girls (Rachel, Sam & Haley) in the series. He's a very flirtatious guy,
really confident in his interactions with the girls, and at the same time
obnoxious. I think he is much of the comic relief in the series, and at the
same time plays a key role in the girls lives. When I read the script, I
knew this part was one that would be exciting for me. I think there's a lot
of my "alter-ego" in this character and I get to be around some terrific
actors and actresses.

ALEX Q#4. Have you kept in contact with any of the cast of "Dawson's Creek?" ...TONY A#4. I don't really keep in touch with the cast, however I do live in Wilmington, so I see them around every once and a while. we say hi, and maybe stop and talk a little bit, but it's just in passing, so I don't get a chance to sitand chat.
ALEX Q#5. I assumed you shot the scenes in Wilmington, North Carolina. How is it there? And is it normal to see the
cast just hanging out in town? ...TONY A#5. It is pretty normal to see them hanging out, I see Michelle driving around
all the time and I see Josh out every once and a while, I do have to say that
he is a riot, he's just a really nice guy, and very professional.
ALEX Q#6. Did you follow "Dawson's Creek" before you got a role in it? Did you know what the different characters were
like? Any favorite episode? ...TONY A#6. I did follow "Dawson's Creek", a lot of the reason being that it was part of the work in
Wilmington, and it's good to be up on things, especially in event of an
audition -- it really helps to know what you're talking about and what the
casting directors are looking for. As far as favorite episodes, mmm...I like
the one I'm in! Actually, I really enjoyed the first season's finally, I
thought everybody did an excellent job.
ALEX Q#7. Internet sites have become a big part of television shows, movies and everything in everydaylife. Have you seen the ALMOST HOME webpage? do you
know if Dawson's Creek cast members look at fanpages? ...TONY A#7. I have seen the ALMOST HOME website, and I think it's great. I think
it's terrific that the internet plays such a key role in keeping people
informed, not just in film and television, but in everything. It's really
opened up new doors for learning.
ALEX Q#8. If you could meet one famous actor or actress who would that be? ...TONY A#8.
If I could meet one actor it would be Harrison Ford, he really inspired me to
become an actor, and I would love to work with the guy, I mean come on, Han
Solo! You can't beat it.
ALEX Q#9. What are your favorite TV shows, or movies? ...TONY A#9. My favorite TV show right now would be either the "Simpsons" or "Angel". As far
